Creating in Web 2.0? [101.13]

In the world of user-generated content, each one of us is capable of becoming an overnight sensation. As we observe, discuss, and analyze Web 2.0, we will start to unravel what it means to live in Web 2.0. But mostly—as this is above all a writing course—from the first day of class, we will compose an exploration of the many forms and types of media that make up our daily experiences. In doing so, we will compose a living record of the what it means to create and compose in Web 2.0.

Homework

This video is a perfect example of user generated content of Spongebob Squarepants. It has taken the original version and turned what is the normal song and added a song that most young adults would listen to Soulja Boy. This video has attracted many users and is not made by a company or corporation. The song of this video has made a large youtube phenomenon for youtube video's such as this. Lots of people find this video entertaining and creative.

This is a perfect example of UGC. We all know the innocent theme song for spongebob and his inncoent little business look. The way spongebob is originally viewed, In this video they turn him into a gangster that smokes with a rap song by a famous rapper soulja boy. Very creative
