The object of value that I choose was my cellphone. I am very attached to my cellphone because it comes with many apps such as Facebook and Tumblr to keep me connected on the go or Hopstop so I can find my way again if I get lost. Apps such as Angry Birds are highly entertaining and addictive making it a perfect combination for my hour & a half train commute to JJay.

In 2011 having the internet is a basic human right. We are free to surf the internet and do whatever we can. We also have the right to pick the service provider we choose. However, companies such as AT&T are trying to buy out the internet. This is not fair to us because AT&T is creating a monopoly. As consumers we should be able to pick the service provider that can best suit our needs and price range.

The internet has also killed critics because they are now wasting their time judging children such as Rebecca Black instead of real artists who have studied music and have a good foundation in it.

  1. There are different views of critics. What are critics really? Are the people who have an opinion? Or are the people who specialize in finding a meaning in a work of media? But I believe that critics are not killed just created since an idea is unstoppable. Have you watched Inception? it's like the time they were on a plain and the guy was like "If I told you not to think about Elephants, what do you think about?" the reply was "Elephants". Once and idea is set someone has an opinion (or something to say) on that idea.
